HOME
Our heart's mission and purpose is to reach the physical needs of our community while providing them with spiritual guidance in their everyday lives. For over 5 years we have been ministering to over 100 families on a weekly basis by providing them with a basket of groceries and meeting their everyday needs. HOME meets every Thursday morning. The church service begins at 9 am and the food distribution begins at 10:30 am.
Golden Vessels
Golden Vessels is our compassion outreach specifically geared toward senior citizens. On this Saturday senior citizens can come in and receive assistance with groceries and household items as well as receive the ministry of the word. Golden Vessels is held every last Saturday of the Month.
CIA (Compassion in Action)
CIA meets every second Saturday of the month. This team of volunteers goes to various apartment complexes and housing projects in our community to share Christ's love by picking up trash, distributing food and just taking time to talk to residence and giving a word of hope.SWAT (Servants With A Testimony)
Equipped with a specialized truck for transporting food and other materials, this ministry reaches out to some of the poorest communities in San Antonio. Meeting the first Saturday of every month, this ministry provides physical and spiritual help to hurting people. SWAT also provides children’s ministry on location to the children of that particular community.
Need Prayer?
One of the most powerful things that we can offer a hurting world is to take their needs to God in prayer. Twice a month, this ministry comes together to provide prayer for those in our community. This is accomplished by one group of individuals going out to strategic intersections in our city and holding signs that read, “Need Prayer?” and then giving a number for people to call in. Another group of intercessors are manning the phones at the church taking those calls.
